The third-generation Moto G is the best thus far, with most of the features you want, and a price that’s almost impossible to beat. The smartphone has an excellent camera and buttery smooth performance. Display feels sharp, and colors are also excellent.

Display:

5 Inch screen. It has a 720p resolution. The 720p display looks bright and crisp; you probably won’t notice that it isn’t higher resolution because, at 294 PPI,  Moto G 2015 still feels Full HD. The display on the front of the Moto G 3 is protected by smooth Gorilla Glass 3. Corning Gorilla Glass spans 3rd gen Moto G from adjacent edge to edge to help keep your phone protected from unsightly scrapes and scratches.

Camera:

Moto G 3 features a 13-megapixel camera that uses a Sony IMX214 Exmor RS sensor with f/2.0 aperture and True-Tone LED flash. This is the same sensor used in the Nexus 6, but this lacks OIS. Release Date

Moto G 3 will be a step up in everything from hardware to software and will release in September, but we are expecting an early release in the 4th week of July this year. According to the sources, Moto G3 was released on 28 July 2015.

Disclaimer: – Although Moto G 3rd Gen has received official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update but we suggest you not to upgrade to it. The update has some issues and bugs on it. Most of the users are reporting that after the update they are facing heating problems and force close issues. In some countries, the front camera is not working and back camera is taking too bad photos. Users are also reporting that auto sync is not functioning properly and they have to do a reboot to get that work.

Some users reported that their contacts are not displaying and on phone calls, they hear some hissing sounds. Indian users are getting some other issues too like a random reboot, fast battery drain and auto disconnection of WiFi signals on their phone. So please do not upgrade to Marshmallow until a bug fix. Note: – If you are getting issues after updating your phone to Android Marshmallow update. You should factory reset your Moto G. To factory reset your 3rd gen Moto G follow this steps. You should have at least 25% battery on your phone.

  1. Shut Down the device and hold the Power button and Volume Down button and at the same time until the device turns on.
  2. Press the Volume Down button to highlight “Recovery mode.”
  3. Push the power button on your phone to restart into Recovery mode. You’ll see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark.
  4. While holding down the Power button, press the Volume Up button.
  5. Use the volume buttons to scroll to “wipe data/factory reset” option and then press the Power button to select the option.
  6. Scroll down to “Yes – erase all user data” and press the Power button to select it.

  1. HI Bought my MOTO G today.It is giving heat. I just saw 20-30mins video
    in you tube and it started like a frying pan.Please don’t buy MOTO g 3rd
    generation.When i checked with flipkart they said they cant do anything
    they are only retailers and refund or replacement is not possible.

    MOTO G is giving so much heating issue. Please dont buy.

    Tip : Once you get any handset please keep it charging for atleast 8hrs
    continuously with mobile turned off.I am ready to speak to anyone and if
    atleat i can save 5 people not to buy MOTO G 3rd Gen i would be happy
    taking revenge against them

    Is the size of this 3rd gen Moto G close enough to the 2nd gen Moto G, so that we can use 2nd gen phone cases? Or will we have to wait for new 3rd gen Moto G sized cases to become available?

  4. plzz provide real info about g3 i was eagerly waiting for it ….but recent leaks just doent impress me at all ..all same old specs with 720p display….410 snapdragon chipset and just 1 gb ram ….i think moto e 4g would be better to consider looking at the price

    • I don’t trust them they are actually not real because of the kernel version and somebody told me that the phone is using Dalvik and Lollipop uses ART so the photos are not real.
